Last week we had the opportunity of giving a short talk on drones to a gathered audience of over 100 property professionals at the Penningtons Manches Property Professionals Lunch at the West Surrey Golf Club near Godalming, Surrey.
The talk was intended to provide a general introduction to the applications of drone technology and some of the regulations which govern their use in the UK. The talk was followed by a brief demonstration of the drone flying outside, culminating in taking an aerial group photograph of all the attendees (see further down this post)!
The following is a video of the talk in its entirety, including the introduction by David Graham-Smith of Penningtons Manches, who organised the event.

After the talk, all the attendees went outside on the terrace (where it was a balmy 32°C with no breeze!) whilst an aerial photograph was taken of them with the drone. See if you can spot the pilot …!

This was a fantastic opportunity to speak in front of so many people from the property industry, and shortly after the event David Graham-Smith (featured in the video above) thanked me for “such an excellent and well received presentation”.
There’s nothing I love more than sharing my passion for drones and the incredible range of positive applications they are being used for today. If you run similar events and would like me to give a talk on the current state-of-the-art in drone technology and the regulations surrounding their use, please do get in touch and I would love to have a chat with you.
