Architectural photos, promotional film and virtual tour produced for Your Beautiful Kitchen

Horizon Imaging was recently commissioned to produce a set of promotional imagery to mark the opening of a luxury kitchen and bathroom design showroom in Mytchett, Surrey — Your Beautiful Kitchen.

The brief was simple — they needed a set of beautiful photographs of their new showroom, an engaging promotional film of the showroom to give people a flavour of what it’s like to visit, and finally a virtual tour to allow their website visitors to explore the showroom from the comfort of their homes. Ultimately, all this imagery will have the same purpose — to whet the appetites of the website visitors and to encourage them to come and visit the showroom!

After a quick look around the showroom to ensure it was as tidy as possible, we first spent an hour or so taking various photographs of the various installations around the showroom — a few samples of which can be found below:

After all the photographs were taken, we walked around the showroom again using firstly our hand-held stabilised 3-axis camera gimbal, and then again using our motorised pan/tilt slider, capturing an array of dynamic shots focusing on different areas of the installations. These clips were then cut together, colour-graded and set to backing music. The final promotional film can be viewed below:

Once the photographs and video footage has been taken, we walked around the showroom one final time (!) with our Matterport Virtual Tour 3D camera, capturing 360 degree imagery and depth information throughout the showroom. This data was then post-processed and the resulting virtual tour can be viewed below.

Click and drag using the left mouse button to look around, and left-click within the room to move in that direction
You can jump to the 3D ‘Doll’s House’ model by clicking on the 3D building icon at the bottom left of the viewer

When in the ‘Doll’s House’ viewing mode

Click and drag using the left mouse button to rotate the model
Click and drag using the right mouse button to shift the model horizontally and vertically
Click once in any part of the model to jump to that part of the tour
