A few weeks ago we were contacted by high-end estate agent Savills based in Guildford, asking if we could produce a short aerial video to help show off the location of a brand new property development that they were selling. The site in question is situated in the beautiful, stereotypically-English village of Puttenham in Surrey which lies in the 'Surrey Hills' — an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB).

As well as producing the video, we also took some aerial photographs which they could use in their printed marketing literature and on their website.

Certainty. That’s the one thing above all else that people want when they book their holiday rental property. Aerial photographs help to market a property and show that what you see is what you will get!

The market for holiday rentals is a competitive one, especially in popular areas around the UK, for example, the Cotswolds. Although May through to September are peak times for holiday rentals in this country, people start looking for ideas in those ‘down days’ often between Christmas and New Year,
We are often asked if we are able to remove certain distracting features from the photographs we have taken. These requests can range from removing contrails from the sky, leaves from a lawn or graffiti from walls, and doing so will often make the difference between a good image and one that really shines and helps to keep the viewer's attention fixed on the intended subject. Occasionally, we are also asked if we can add features to photographs which weren't there to begin with, like adding a more attractive sky or digitally 'seeding' a new lawn!
Ask someone why they purchased their home and it’s not unusual to get the reply, ‘because we fell in love with it.’ Here at Horizon Imaging, we can help create that love. With most property searches beginning online, it’s important that agents present a property in the best possible way so that potential purchasers start to develop an emotional connection with the properties they’re viewing, and ultimately decide to arrange viewings ...

Earlier this week, Strutt & Parker commissioned Horizon Imaging to take some aerial photographs of parts of the large Sompting Estate near Worthing, West Sussex. Strutt & Parker required both aerial and ground photographs of a farmhouse which is being re-let, and also a collection of aerial photographs from across the estate. For once the weather was very kind to us on the shoot day, with blue skies from sunrise to sunset, crisp cold air and a subtle warmth from the sun – just as January should be!

Horizon Imaging was recently asked at short notice whether we could photograph the show house in a new housing development in Carshalton, Sutton, London. The photographs were to be taken the following day, and the final processed images had to be available later the same afternoon. Never one to say no to a challenge, Horizon Imaging's Director, David Hogg, was on site the following morning taking the photographs, and the processed photographs were delivered later the same day as requested.

Horizon Imaging have continued to undertake property photography work over the last month, although the demand is much reduced as this is the quietest part of the year for new listings. That said, we recently had the opportunity to photograph this beautiful house nestling in a secluded rural location near Hindhead, Surrey.

Horizon Imaging was recently commissioned to take some aerial photographs to show how close a new housing development is to the sea-front in the pretty coastal village of Prinsted, Hampshire. Whilst the sea cannot easily be seen from the site itself, the developer, Junnell Homes, were keen to illustrate that the development was within easy walking distance of the harbour – and what better way to do this than with a drone aerial photograph!

Horizon Imaging was recently commissioned to photograph a collection of industrial units for Capital Industrial, an asset management company based in Central London. We visited 9 sites over a period of two days, taking elevated aerial photographs with our telescopic mast, and ground-based architectural photographs inside and outside the units.
Horizon Imaging has been providing property photography packages to Estate Agents across the South East of the UK since April 2014, and our work has been highly praised by Estate Agents such as Jackson-Stops & Staff, Knight Frank, Hamptons International and Barton Wyatt
